I might jinx it by saying this but I have a strong feeling that Saving Face will win the Academy Award for Documentary Short
Aside from being extremely biased and in favor of anything related to the Chinoy family for very specific reasons going back to my childhood <3, considering the times we live in and the subject matter, I think it would be the decision that they awards committee or whoever would think was a good P.R. move AS WELL AS, I’m sure the film is amazing.
